1. Information We Collect

• Account info — email, username, display name, password (hashed), date of birth for age verification.
• Profile content — bio, photos, videos, social links, location, categories, and other fields you choose to publish.
• Usage data — logins, page views, link clicks, search activity, device and browser metadata.
• Payment metadata — handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
• Communications — messages exchanged with other members, support tickets, and reports.

2. How We Use Information

• Operate, secure, and improve the Services.
• Match creators with collaborators and surface relevant search results.
• Process subscriptions, invoices, and refunds.
• Prevent fraud, abuse, and policy violations.
• Send transactional emails (sign-in, billing, account notices) and, with consent, product updates.

We do not sell your personal data.

3. Sharing

We share data only with service providers required to run CollabCanvas (e.g. Stripe for payments, hosting, email delivery) and when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of CollabCanvas, our users, or the public. Public profile fields are visible to other members and may be indexed by search engines.

4. International Transfers

The Services are hosted in the United States. If you access them from another region, you consent to your data being transferred to and processed in the United States.

5. Your Rights

6. Data Retention

We retain account and content data for as long as your account is active. After deletion we may retain limited records (billing history, fraud signals, abuse reports) as required by law or for legitimate business needs.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. No system is perfectly secure — use a strong, unique password and enable available account protections.

9. Children

The Services are for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.

Material updates will be announced in-app or by email. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
